• Managing the development and deployment of occupational health programs according to Company and regulatory requirements.
• Managing the development of training related to health and safety procedures, operating procedures, and safe work practices that relate to regulatory requirements and risk mitigation. Ensure training adequacy and effectiveness through continuous monitoring and assessment.
• Managing, developing and overseeing an effective EHS assurance process that requires monitoring of compliance and/or conformance with EHS legal and other requirements.

• Representing and participating the organization at various industry associations through participation on committees or task teams.

Primary stakeholders served by this group include management, region EHS, technical operations, engineering, legal, system planning, as well as external customers (regulatory agencies, industry groups).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Safety & Health studies or related field.
• Twelve years of professional safety experience with a strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and some Environmental regulatory knowledge.
• Two years experience supervising/managing professional and administrative staff.
• Demonstrated experience in the application of EHS management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with wide variety of audiences (operators, management, engineering, etc,).

The HSE Supervisor position provides service and support for the company’s HSE management system at the District to both management and field staff. Leads the station/field HSE initiatives under limited supervision. Will be responsible to provide leadership in implementation, development and administration of safety practices, policies and training through various methods. Summary of Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage District MSDS files.
• Act as District RSO, including maintenance of files, administration of leak tests, regular inspection of gauges, management of licenses, ensure compliance to company radiation manual and federal/state radiation requirements.
• DOT compliance (driver file maintenance, random vehicle inspections, audit of logs, audit of hazmat compliance).
• General OHSA compliance and compliance to internal HSE requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Post secondary education (2 year Associate Degree minimum).
• 10 years minimum oil and gas field experience with pressure pumping experience and extensive HSE experience.
• HSE certification (preferred) such as NASP EHS Management Specialist, OHST, etc.
• Trainer accreditation in HSE related courses (HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, driver trainer, forklift operator trainer, etc.)
• Team orientated, but able to set personal objectives and work on a stand alone basis.
• Audit experience (safety auditor training/certification preferred).
• Incident investigation/root cause analysis training.
• Must be excellent communicator and be able to establish rapport with field staff.
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Office, digital scanning software, digital photo operation and general computer usage/electronic file management.
• Position requires extensive field travel and will sometimes require long hours in the field in adverse work/climatic environments. Responsibilities: The role will work with the EH&S and manufacturing teams to resolve, implement and delegate Process Safety requirements.
