Safety Manager (3/12/09)

The Safety Manager is responsible for managing, teaching and stewarding Lucia’s safety program to our employees. Regularly visits jobsites to conduct jobsite inspections, instructs foremen and employees in Lucia’s Behavior Based Safety Program, and conducts injury/accident investigations. Safety Environmental Specialist (2/25/09)

Job Summary: Identifies hazardous workplace conditions and takes preliminary samples and measurements of hazardous and toxic substances, removes hazards and/or protects employees by guarding, revising work procedures, and training or requiring use of protective clothing and personal protective equipment. Takes effective steps to ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standard provisions, ensuring that all required records are prepared and maintained.   1. Review and report to site management new or existing regulatory requirements and corporate policies/programs and associated impacts. Design response actions.

Project Health & Safety Program Manager (2/25/09)

PSI, Inc. has been contracted to perform over sight of the industrial health and safety at the British Petroleum Refinery in Whiting, Indiana.

The position reports to the Hillside, IL PSI, Inc. Industrial Hygiene Department Manager, and will be located at the BP refinery in Whiting.

The Project Health & Safety Program Manager will oversee and manage the entire Contractor Health and Safety Program during the demolition and reconstruction of the refinery. The position will have several reports. The position will work closely with other contracted professionals, as well as with Senior Operational Leadership within BP. The Project Health & Safety Program Manager will be responsible for rolling out BP’s safety standards, practices, procedures and programs to the contract employees. Additionally, they will conduct proactive auditing of safety processes at the Whiting BP job site as well as accident investigations.

Candidates must possess a BS/BA and a Certification in Industrial Hygiene. They should have a minimum of 10 years industrial hygiene leadership experience, ideally in the construction or a related industry / service group. RBG is seeking an experienced and hands-on HSEQ Manager for our US operations, with responsibility for all HSEQ activities, including compliance, training, project support and development. Safety is a key to RBG’s continued success and growth worldwide, and the HSEQ Manager is cooperating closely with the corporate HSEQ function in Aberdeen, UK.
